Day 1

First meal @ Paro

We were lucky ... In time for Forestry Day! we planted a few trees!

 Day 3

Donated the meals for 300 Sangha and devotees for one day Zilukha nunnery ( Drupthob Goemba)

Motithang Takin Preservation centre 

To see the rare "Takin" Which was declared by Royal Government of Bhutan as National Animal on 25th November 1985.

we couldn't see any Takin within close range for photo shooting. In the previous years, we could.  

Day 4

Dochula Pass


First time in many years, we get to see the full mountain range in June! 

Punakha Dzong

 also known as Pungtang Dewa chhenbi Phodrang - "the palace of great happiness or bliss"

The Central Shrine in Lhakhang Nagpo is said to have no difference with that of Lhasa JOWO in Tibet.
